All about Hosting Credits
How are Hosting Credits related to my hosting account, or, in other words - how much credits to I loose for hosting?
One Time Credit Reduction
When you apply for a new hosting account and your application is approved - you're sent a link by mail - with which you can create your own hosting account. When you create this account, you loose out a certain amount of credits from your total - depending on which package you applied for. For Starter and Regular package, these are 10 and 30 credits respectively.
N.B.: But keep one thing in mind - if you have more than this credit count (say 50) - almost all your credits will be deducted, leaving you with only 3 credits at the end of account creation. This applies to both the Starter and Regular package. So it is advisable that once you reach the required number of credits for a particular package - apply immediately for a hosting account. Once you've created your account, you can peacefully proceed to build up a cool credit count, which will then go towards sustaining your account.
Daily Credit ReductionUnder normal circumstances, ONE hosting credit is deducted from your total credit count for every real world day that passes by.
Keep in mind, that this deduction doesn't happen all at once at midnight - the actual deducted keeps on happening throughout the day, in minute quantities summing up to one credit after the day elapses. You'll notice this deduction being reflected in your credit count, which appears in a decimal format similar to: 123.45
You'll never loose more than One Credit per day, unless caught SPAMMING - in which case you'll loose credits worth the whole of your spam post from your total credit count.
