Hosting Account, finally ...
Help! I haven't received my approval mail although my application says that it has been approved.
This is a very common problem among our members. In 90% of the cases, in actuality the mail has reached your mailbox, except for the fact that it has automatically been moved to the Junk/Bulk/Spam mail folder by your mail provider. Thus, before you ask for the approval mail to be sent again, kindly check in the aforementioned folder to ensure the mail really hasn't reached you.
Also, as mentioned in the prior FAQ, a lot of users multiple email addresses and often forget which one they used for signing up. They request hosting account stating one email address, whereas they've signed-up for the forums using another email address. By default, your approval mai will always be sent to the email address that you used for signing up at the forums.
Lastly, in case you DO find the approval mail in your Junk mail folder, make sure you WHITELIST our domain (astahost.com/trap17.com) so that in future any important correspondence regarding your hosting account or the forum in general doesn't get diverted to your Junk mail folder by default. Occasionally, we send out reports about server status and upgrades - which are quite important - as they might contain information about service suspensons for short durations while we carry on with our upgrades. Knowing this information is important as it helps avoid unnecessary confusions about your hosting account - which of course, wont be available for the same duration.
